Civic education in Vancouver and Metro Vancouver

Helping People Understand and Participate in Public Life

Public decisions affect how we move, where we live, how communities grow and whether everyone can participate. Understanding those decisions should not require specialized knowledge or insider access.

Think City Education Society creates opportunities for people to learn about civic issues, hear informed perspectives and take part in constructive public conversations. Our work includes conferences, workshops, speaker series and educational resources on transportation, housing, climate, human rights, accessibility, community planning and related public issues.

The goal is practical: make important issues easier to understand and civic participation easier to approach.
